Paige Duke was born at the Hahn Air Base in Germany on March 3rd, 1987 to a fighter pilot father and his high school sweetheart, Paige Duke was destined to enjoy a life of traveling and new adventures. After a few months, she moved to her familyʼs hometown of Lancaster, SC, and has lived there since. The small town life instilled humble roots, a down-to- earth personality, and an infectious smile in the self-described country girl.
Always an A+ student, Paige represented Lancaster High School as Student Body President, Amitee Cotillion Club President, and captain of the varsity soccer and swim teams. Paige was born a Clemson Tiger fan and achieved her goal of attending Clemson University Calhoun Honors College on a full academic scholarship.
Although Paige wanted to pursue a career as a sports reporter, Clemson did not offer a strong broadcasting program. As a diehard Tiger fan, she did not apply to any other colleges and opted to major in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2009 and was on the Presidentʼs or Deanʼs list her entire college career. If her college studies werenʼt enough, Paige also competed on the club swim team and Ranch Horse team.
When Paige was 18, she participated in her first Hawaiian Tropic Model Search in Myrtle Beach, SC and won. From then on she was hooked, yet her education was the number one priority. She was signed with Creative Management Group and began working weekends during college as a promotional model for several companies. She traveled the southeast working at bike rallies, NASCAR and NHRA events and with her strong southern accent became a favorite with the fans. Marilynʼs Model and Talent Agency also signed with Paige, and she would pick up some modeling work on the side. ! After graduation Paige worked part-time as a veterinary technician while exploring career options. Modeling has always been thought of as a hobby for Paige as she did not think of herself as a model. She once again won the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Myrtle Beach finals, and was now able to attend the national finals, where she was 3rd runner up!
In October of 2009, Paige received an e-mail from her agent at Marilynʼs about an opening for the Miss Sprint Cup position. After interviewing, her “what you see, is what you get” attitude and sweet southern ways, earned her the position as a brand ambassador for Sprint in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. This was a milestone for her broadcasting and modeling career and for a year and a half she traveled the country to NASCAR races as a “fanʼs friend on the inside.” She could be seen emceeing, social networking, hosting events and live video chats, on SPEEDʼs RaceHub, and NASCAR.com videos. She once again won the hearts of millions of people and brought a smile to everyone she met. ! Throughout this job Paige made appearances on nationwide television and radio stations, appeared on Pardon the Interruption as well as Fox and Friends, and can be seen in several music videos, most recently Brad Paisleyʼs “Old Alabama.” She was featured in national commercials centered around NASCAR as well as several car commercials. She can also be seen in Maximʼs “Women in Hunting.”
In July 2011 a photo scandal, where Paige’s ex released nude photos she sent him when she was 18, ended her tenure as Miss Sprint Cup. It was time to “Turn the Paige.” Paige decided to make lemonade from lemons. Her story made the local and national news and the support started flowing in abundantly. Paige decided to become a motivational speaker to other girls out there in hopes they learn a lesson from her mistake. She was hired as Miss Sweetest Sundaes and serves as a spokesmodel at their nationwide events which raise money for the Tigerlily Breast Cancer Foundation. A possible hunting and fishing show may also be in her near future. She hopes to pursue a career as an on-air host or sports reporter and is open to many ideas as they arise.
A week after her firing, KrugerFarms.com hired Paige as a spokesperson and National Accounts Manager. Kruger Farms is an online outdoor retailer and has partnerships with Mountain Dew, Miller High Life and several other companies. Paige loves to take people out hunting and fishing and can be seen hosting their 2-minute tips & Krugercuts videos on KrugerFarms.com.
As one door closed several other had opened in in the Fall of 2011, Paige was casted on Sweet Home Alabama, the highest ranked show of 2011 on CMT. She would be one of the country bachelorettes vying for the heart of one bachelor. She made it to 5 out of 8 episodes before she was eliminated. She won the hearts of the viewers and when it came time to choose the bachelorette for Season 3, Paige fit the part perfectly. She would be looking for love from 11 country vs. 11 city guys. The show premiered on January 13, 2012 and would be a ten episode season. She has appeared as a guest on ‘E! News’, ‘Southern Fried Flicks’, ‘CMT Insider’, ‘CMT Top 20 Countdown,’ and on ‘The Soup’. She has also been a guest on many radio stations and news broadcast.
In her spare time she enjoys playing with her two rescued pit bulls, hunting, fishing, riding horses, spending time on the lake or beach, and being around her family and friends. She is a huge adrenaline junky and enjoys “living like a gyspy.”
